ABOUT
Join “Neve the Cat” in solving a game of riddles and brain teasers. Riddle Zen is a good word guessing game for every age group. There will be 400+ riddles included in the released game. You will also be able to collect plants and learn about them! Furthermore, solving riddles have benefits! Riddles enhance mental stimulation, vocabulary expansion and improve your logic and reasoning skills!
ONE OF NINE
Each riddle comes with 9 possible options with their respective image. Only 1 of them is correct! After each riddle you get Zen necessary for upgrades and on some occasions unlock a plant.
At the end of a riddle you have an option to understand why the answer was the one you picked. This also applies even if you skip the riddle. You will always have access to the reasoning behind all the riddles.

GLOSSARY
The idea is to add an an educational touch to Riddle Zen. I want to create a section in the garden that provides insights into various plants such as their location, classification, etc. I would base this from sources such as iNaturalist and IUCN Red List. This would take time and thus you could check the Kickstarter!
FOCUS
The game focuses on peaceful and relaxing tasks like solving riddles and collecting plants. There's no competition, it's all about savoring the process and finding your own state of Zen while keeping your brain active. There are 3 tracks that have been designed to convey a peaceful atmosphere.
QUICKPLAY
This feature is not included in the Demo version, game testers do have this feature enabled though!
In the final release once you solve riddle 40 you will gain access to the Quick Play mode. In this mode you are trying to solve as many riddles as you can within the time provided.
TRADING
This feature is not included in the Demo version, game testers do have this feature enabled though!
Every time you get a duplicate plant it will automatically change to a bell.
Bells can be traded to Neve for a chance at more resources or plants!

Very nice! Just tried a few levels and it's a very cute, cosy and well made game so far. I love the music and the general concept, and the little turtle guy is great. Not my usual type of game and yet I definitely enjoyed playing it, nice work!

I failed on 20 and it asked me to watch an ad to continue, but the ads aren't working so I can go no further. I enjoyed it until this point.
I have updated the game, there are a few new features and the bug you reported should be solved now!

Thank you! I created some art for this project but the UI was made by a very talented artist. I added his name in the credit list. This being said, look forward to releasing the game fully developed in the future!

Mixing riddles with a collection game is a bit odd but I think I'd like to try the final game.
I only have a minor objection about one riddle and that's only due to the wording. Not requesting that you change it, just talking about it being jarring to hear it one way for 40 years and then hear someone else say it differently:
The one who makes it, doesn't keep it. The one who buys it, doesn't use it. The one who uses it, doesn't know it.

Wonderful to hear! If you want to try the full version you can DM me through one of my social medias your email. It is required by google for me to add you to the testing pool. You can use a junk email if desired. I will not be using these emails for any reason.
While, I try to keep the riddles as close as the original ones , there are times I have to change the riddle since the original one was too long to fit in the space provided.
Yes, of course, I understand you sometimes have to edit for length or clarity and I would be surprised if you even knew them worded the same way I do. This was just one of those things that happen to jar me.
